WindChain is a group of Dutch seasoned and passionate professionals ready to support you in the complete cycle of development & policies, engineering, contracting and construction, O&M and removal & renewal of renewable energy projects. We work from a basis of knowledge, expertise and experience. And we take responsibility.

Since 2000 we have been involved in more than 1000+ MW of wind power, both onshore and offshore, both small and large, from T&I to EPCI and Turn-key in Europe, Africa and the Americas, both on contractor’s side as well as on employer’s side.

PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

We will ask for your personal details, when you subscribe to our newsletter, complete the contact form or sign up for one of our projects/events. We will only process the data provided e.g.:

• Name (first and last name)
• Address (street, zip code and city)
• Email address
• Telephone number(s)
• Organisation

PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA?

On our website you can find a contactform. The ‘Contact’ form will be used to process your data, question or remark and to contact you about it. Furthermore, we can use the above-mentioned data for our own internal analyses, our marketing policy and improvements to the site, in order to improve our services.

ANALYSIS WEBSITE VISITORS

On the Windchain-website, generic website visitor data is recorded, including time of request and data send by your browser. The Facebook Pixel service analyses anonymous. We use this service to record, get reports on how visitors use the website and to place targeted advertisements on Facebook. For more information on Facebook Pixel, see our cookie policy.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

The Windchain website uses Google Analytics to keep statistics of our website. The collected information is anonymised as much as possible (without using the address of your computer (IP address)) and transferred onto Google servers in the United States. By using Google Analytics Windchain collects, amongst other things, the following data:

• the number of unique visitors;
• the number of visits per visitor;
• what pages visitors view;
• how long visitors view a page;
• on what page visitors exit the internet.

Google can share this information with third parties, if required by law, or if these third parties process information on behalf of Google. Windchain cannot be held responsible.

With regard to your privacy, Windchain has taken the following necessary measurements:
- data processing agreement with Google;
- the last octet of the IP address is masked;
- 'share data' is turned off;
- no other Google services are used in combination with the Google Analytics-cookies.

DATA STORAGE

The stored data contains very few low sensitive information. Because we want to able to analyse data in the future and to compare this to recent data, we save the data indefinitely, unless indicated otherwise.

In case you click on the link in the mailing and it is confirmed, we will add your email address to our ‘unsubscribe file’. We only use this file to prevent the system from sending any further mail.

The visitor statistics collected with Google Analytics will be stored for 26 months.

SHARE

Windchain will only share your personal data with third parties, unless required for the execution of a project you registered to, or to comply to legal obligations. When you register as a guest lecturer, your data can be shared with for instance the schools, looking for a guest lecturer.

ACCESS, MODIFY OR DELETE DATA

Everyone has the right to access, modify or delete their own personal data. You can send your request to access, modify or removal to info@windchain.nl. Windchain will react to your request as soon as possible (within 4 weeks).

PROTECTION

Windchain takes its responsibility to protect your data serious and takes the appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, undesired publication and unauthorised modification. The Windchain-website uses a trustworthy SSL-Certificate to keep your personal data from falling into the wrong hands.
