Born and raised as a technician, my career started in 1995 as an engineer in construction, soon discovering the talent for the commercial and contractual site to projects, leading to further education with an Executive MBA in 2006. Working 18 years in civil construction in various management positions the opportunity was given to switch to the offshore industry. Here, at the time new to the business, the team building skills where greatly appreciated including the ability to look ‘outside the box’ and challenge team members to do so as well. Successfully executing wind and oil and gas projects without any LTI and within time and budget for various clients as TenneT, BG/Shell, Equinor, Wintershall, Trianel and recently YARD-Energy.

As I strife to have the highest safety standard, I volunteered to become an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) trainer within Seaway Heavy lifting.

Appreciated by team members and stakeholders as a strong leader and emphatic team player with a keen eye of the job at hand.
